Executive Director sought for The John W. Clem Recovery House in Athens, Ohio. (JWCRH) The JWCRH works to bring men with alcohol and substance abuse issues into recovery and to assist them in becoming sober productive members of the community. The Executive Director is responsible for overall management, including but not limited to:
·Development and implementation of programs, activities and services;
·Grant writing and fund-raising;
·Recruitment, training, and supervision of paid staff
·Representation of the JWCRH to public, professional associations, businesses, gov't agencies, etc.
Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in the non-profit sector; preferably in the area of recovery from addiction; Bachelors or Masters degree in a social service or health related field (or substantial experience in lieu of degree); a strong track record in securing funding; genuine interest in and empathy for individuals in recovery; strong interpersonal skills; public speaking experience; and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
