Essential Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
Providing mental health screening, psychiatric diagnostic assessment, therapy and case management forclients with Severe Emotional Disturbances/Mental Illnesses
Safety planning and crisis intervention
Collaboration and coordination of services with other involved professionals
Application of evidence-based intervention models (e.g., Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-FocusedCBT, Motivational Interviewing, etc.)
Maintain Fidelity to the IHBT rules
Consulting with supervisor regarding mental health issues
Education:
Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work
Ohio License is required: LPC, PCC, LSW, LISW, MFT
Qualifications:
Valid Ohio Driver’s License with no more than 6 points
Experience working in mental health systems
Skill in using computer software applications such as Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Must have a thorough understanding of and value a client/family-centered, integrated care approach
Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a team
Reliable transportation is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with youth and families
Ability to work with electronic medical records
Experience working with diverse populations with complex needs, including high risk clients
