Kent State University seeks to fill two positions to join our treatment team of mental health care providers at the Kent campus.  The Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) office is part of the Division of Student Affairs and is dedicated to building a culturally diverse staff committed to serving a multicultural student population. The two positions are:

    Assessment and Evaluation Coordinator

The Assessment and Evaluation Coordinator is a new, full-time position at CAPS.  This position is primarily a clinical one with a focus on providing direct services to students, which include conducting assessment appointments, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy services, and outreach.  What distinguishes this position from a mental health provider position is the expansion and oversight of the psychological testing and assessment program at CAPS, coordination of departmental routine outcome measurements, and administration of department client satisfaction surveys.  The Assessment and Evaluation Coordinator should have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. and will report to the Associate Director.

    Group Services Coordinator

The Group Services Coordinator is a new, full-time position at CAPS.  This position is primarily a clinical one with a focus on providing direct services to students, which include conducting assessment appointments, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy services, and outreach.  What distinguishes this position from a mental health provider position is the development and oversight of the group services program at CAPS. The Group Services Coordinator will report to the Assistant Director, Clinical Services.
