Kelly’s Grief Center of Kent, Ohio is a non-profit organization with the mission to provide a safe, secure and professional environment where grieving people in northeastern Ohio will find support, education and strength to begin the process of healing.
We are seeking a part/full time LPC, or LPCC. Previous experience working with children, grief and trauma is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
Essential Functions:
- Provide individual, group or family therapy as needed
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Develops a therapeutic relationship with each client
- Conducts psychosocial assessments
- Attends conferences and workshops to maintain professional competence
- Participate in community outreach and events
- Assist in the planning, organization, and implementation of groups, or seasonal programs for clients and families
- Familiarity and use with Electronic Health Record
- Work flexible hours
- Work some evenings
Qualifications:
- Minimum educational level Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a valid Ohio LPC or LPCC license

Kelly’s Grief Center provides grief, mental and emotional health services in a private non-profit setting. No client is turned away with inability to pay for services.
