Kelly’s Grief Center of Kent, Ohio is a non-profit organization with the mission to provide a safe, secure and professional environment where grieving people in northeastern Ohio will find support, education and strength to begin the process of healing.

We are seeking a part/full time LPC, or LPCC. Previous experience working with children, grief and trauma is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Essential Functions:

• Provide individual, group or family therapy as needed
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Develops a therapeutic relationship with each client
• Conducts psychosocial assessments
• Attends conferences and workshops to maintain professional competence
• Participate in community outreach and events
• Assist in the planning, organization, and implementation of groups, or seasonal programs for clients and families
• Familiarity and use with Electronic Health Record
• Work flexible hours
• Work some evenings

Qualifications:

• Minimum educational level Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a valid Ohio LPC or LPCC license

Kelly’s Grief Center provides grief, mental and emotional health services in a private non-profit setting. No client is turned away with inability to pay for services.
