POSITION: COUNSELOR - LICENSED DRUG/ALCOHOL
OVERVIEW:
This agency has a long standing history of assisting individuals who reside in this County and our stable substance use disorder program has assisted many who have experienced issues with addiction. As a Counselor in our program, you would have the opportunity to work with a wide array of clients, facilitate groups, work closely with other community entities, work with a team of driven/fun/hardworking individuals, and to earn additional incentives for your own productivity.
This is a FT position with comprehensive benefits, paid leave, sign-on bonus, incentive bonuses, and a flexible schedule with some evening hours. Direct/indirect services to clients and families. Work collaboratively with clients, referral sources and other treatment providers. Respond to client needs from own or dept. caseloads. Assessments, individual/collateral/group therapy, case management and consultation with other therapists, clinical documentation, service and treatment plans, education and prevention services. Meet productivity expectations. Participate in individual and group supervision, team meetings, peer review and qualilty assurance activites. Case consultation with other therapists, telephone contacts.
REQUIREMENTS:
Masters degree in a behavioral healthcare field such as social work, counseling, psychology, or human services required. Minimum licensure of an Ohio LSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist and ability to obtain CD credentialing required. Independent licensure and experience in the fields of substance use disorders/mental health preferred. Skills in written and verbal communication; assessment; planning; organization, interpersonal skills and teamwork. Ability to perform computer data entry required and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word) and EHR preferred. Subject to all background check clearances. E.O.E.
