Program Manager II
Linden Anti-Violence Team
This position manages the newly created anti-violence teams, will support program development and provide direct supervision of a team of two (2) Social Workers and two (2) Outreach Workers. Responsible for the implementation, daily operation, and oversight for the program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, Sociology, Criminology or a related field. Previous experience with crisis intervention, anti-violence, and de-escalation, strong familiarity with community based work. Strong skills in program development and management preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse staff and community residents. Five + years of Supervisory experience required.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Possess strong leadership, solutions driven, and has relationship building skills. Understands the complexity of community violence and trauma.
