Public Safety – Dispatch Center (2 Vacancies)
Columbus Public Health is seeking a Social Work Supervisor with new public safety expansion program. This position manages a small team directly at the 911 Call center providing both clinical and administrative supervision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: Master’s in Social Work with Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory status (LISW-S) preferred. Previous experience within the healthcare field, in crisis and trauma work, and community based outreach/social work activities preferred. Possession of a valid State of Ohio license as an Independent Social Worker (LISW) and one (1) year of supervisory experience required. Experience with crisis intervention and knowledge of working with variety of different communities including various cultural backgrounds and socio-economic statuses.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Strong assessment skills especially under crisis related circumstances. Ability to lead, motivate, and provide strong direction to others in a high stress environment.
