After this program, you should:

1) Be able to explain what BDSM stands for and the similarities and differences between its practitioners.

2) Differentiate between Intimate Partner Violence and Consensual Kink and describe how to conduct a kink-aware risk assessment. 

3) Identify at least 2-3 strategies for supporting kink identified clients in maintaining positive mental health and relationships.

This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 2 CE credits and is considered synchronous learning if in attendance to the live webinar. Participants will be expected to complete a post webinar assignment as part of the completion of the 2 AASECT CE's. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification through the Sexuality Training Institute.
