Being more familiar with legal and ethical requirements for safe practice reduces therapists' stress level and promotes well-being for all involved in the process. All good therapists want to practice within the law and be ethical in all they do. Feeling supported is an important aspect of good care. Confidence is enhanced when clinicians know their state laws and ethical codes that govern practice. This course is designed to help therapists grow in their knowledge of what law and ethical codes say about the use of ethical decision-making models, professional record-keeping, and media-based technology.
