FT position for Families Together Therapist, salaried with benefits.Some flexibility in scheduling.
Overview:
Based at main site office, with provision of off-site in-home therapeutic and community support services to children and families including assessment, treatment planning, coordination of services, monitoring, linking & referral, advocacy, support, education and crisis intervention including on-call coverage working as part of an intervention team. As applicable, follow (MST) model of treatment (training available for same). Meet productivity expectations, e.g. billable units. Record documentation of assessment, treatment planning, goal progress and discharge for client. Complete reports to referral sources or other involved organizations. Team staff meetings, supervision, travel, and training. Complete agency required documentation. Ability to maintain regular attendance and adherence to work schedule.
Ability to diagnose per current DSM criteria independently or with supervision; knowledge of interviewing methods; skills in psychotherapy/counseling in individual, group, family, crisis situations including knowledge of techniques to facilitate emotional growth and/or behavior change; capacity for collecting data and drawing clinical conclusions; ability to develop and implement individual service plans and ability to establish and maintain appropriate therapeutic relationships with clients
Minimum Requirements:
Masters degree in field of mental health, such as social work, counseling, psychology, human/family services with no experience required (or RN with minimum of two years paid experience with service population); LSW, PC, or RN required and active licensure in State of Ohio. (Prefer a Masters degree in social work, counseling, or psychology with one year paid experience with service population.; with LISW, PCC, licensed psychologist; or LICDC for AOD providers.)
Ability to communicate clearly and accurately both verbally and in writing. Organized and work well both independently and on a team in accordance with established policies and procedures. Subject to criminal background, DMV, and drug screen clearance checks.
Ability to travel. Proof of valid driver=s license, excellent driving record, $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 vehicle insurance liability limits; vehicle in safe operating condition, and continued maintenance of all, as applicable. Ability to perform computer data entry required and knowledge of Microsoft Word preferred.
