To search and apply for job openings within our agency please follow these steps (External applicants):
1. Direct your web browser to www.careers.ohio.gov/
2. Click the Search for State Government Jobs red button.
3. You can perform a keyword, location or organization search.
4. In the Organization field, key in Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities.
5. To filter postings, make your selection(s) in the filter options. Selections made within the search criteria will appear under each search box. The number next to each criterion indicates the number of postings that fall within that particular search criterion.
6. Click a position title to view the job duties, minimum qualifications, and any additional requirements or information.
7. Click the Apply button.
8. Please read the Privacy Agreement and, if you agree, click I Accept.
9. Create an Account and/or Login
10. Set up Profile/Apply for a Job
11. My Job page: With My Job page, applicants will be able to access draft and completed job submissions.

Who We Are:
Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is the state agency that empowers Ohioans with disabilities through employment, disability determinations, and independence. It is accomplished through its Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (BVR), Bureau of Services for the Visually Impaired (BSVI) and Division of Disability Determination (DDD). A fourth area is the Division of Employer and Innovation Services (EIS), which is responsible for establishing and maintaining partnerships with employers.
What We Do:
OOD works with partners in businesses, education and non-profit organizations to facilitate customized employment plans for Ohioans with disabilities; helps Ohio companies recruit and retain employees with disabilities; and is the sole agency determining medical and vocational Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) programs in Ohio.
