About the Ohio Counseling Association

The Ohio Counseling Association, a Branch of the American Counseling Association, represents professional counselors in various practice settings across the State of Ohio.

The purpose of OCA shall be to advance the discipline of counseling, acting at all times in accordance with the purpose and bylaws of the American Counseling Association.

OCA offers counselors an opportunity for professional networking, advocacy, and professional development. Some member benefits include a bi-annual newsletter that reviews important state and national counseling issues and online access to the Journal of Counselor Practice, a peer-reviewed journal focused on the practice of professional counseling.

Here is our latest membership flyer explaining the benefits of OCA Membership.
