Agenda coming soon!

Each year the OCA Leadership Development Institute offers a free event that brings together current and potential leaders from around the state who are seeking to enhance their leadership skills and dedication to advancing the counseling profession. The sessions and activities of the day are designed to provide attendees - no matter the depth of their leadership experience - with helpful information and tools to discern becoming involved with a leadership role which matches their interests and strengths. LDI also provides networking opportunities with current leaders in the field from around the state, including past and present OCA Executive Council members. Presenters include former and current OCA presidents and other leaders who remain dedicated to helping OCA continue to thrive through leadership recruitment, development, and support This year's theme is "Servant Leadership," and while participants will all learn together in the morning, LDI will offer two tracks in the afternoon to better serve the needs of those in attendance. Choose the track that fits YOU when you register! Participants are also encouraged to register as a team!

Who should attend Track 1?

- Anyone engaged in a current leadership role (such as OCA chapter or division president elects, presidents, past presidents, secretaries, treasures, chairs, etc.).

- Current Chi Sigma Iota presidents, Vice Presidents, secretaries, treasurers, chairs, etc.

Who should attend Track 2?

- Anyone who is not currently in an OCA leadership position but wants to learn more about OCA as a state organization, understand the role of advocacy, and begin to consider possible future OCA leadership opportunities.

- Current graduate students who can envision themselves in leadership roles after graduation and as a new professional.

Coffee, hot tea, and water will be provided. A food court is nearby for breakfast and lunch on your own. After LDI concludes, participants are encouraged to visit the AOCC exhibits, attend the Graduate Student Reception, and network with other counseling professionals across Ohio. Register now!

Register today and commit to attending this key step to a leading the future of Counseling in Ohio!

After the close of the LDI, we suggest you stay to tour the AOCC exhibits, enjoy the Graduate Student Reception, and network with other Counselor professionals from across Ohio!
