Families Impacted by Opioids (no NBCC credit)

This is an all day conference for families with a loved one impacted by opioid's and other addictions. The event is designed to take the ambiguity out of the journey with addiction.

There are several stages in the progression of this dsease. Each stage is known and most have specific services, programs and support for the families to utilize. However, the family will need to understand these stages and learn what they can do to be proactively and prepared for each stage. This is the purpose of the conference, to Educate, Unite the Family and Get Organized for this life long journey from "Addication to Remission" and beyond....

The meeting begins with a Key Note speaker in the grand ball room, a 12 member Panel Discussion of experts and family members who's family is in a specific stage of the disease progression will follow. In the afternoon there are 9 Education Breakout sessions for the family to learn more about specific topics. All day the EXHIBIT HALL will be open for "One on One" networking with the services, programs and agencies that support the family in their journey.

A conference workbook will be provided for the family to fill in during each seminar. This will build throughout the day and become the "Family Plan of Action" to use when they return home.

ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION TO THE SEMINARS. PAYMENT IS DONE AT THE DOOR ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT. PRINT YOUR TICKET AND BRING IT TO THE CONFERENCE. ONE TICK PER PERSON, $5.00 Per Ticket, per person. NOTE: there is a limited number of admission tickets, (500 total). There is no ticketing at the door, tickets must be registered in advance.
